PLANNING, LEADERSHIP & CULTURE · Sunshine Coast

Rapid growth brings new decisions, new structures and a lot of strain on the people you rely on most. I work with owners and founders to steady the pressure, support managers and build ways of working that keep your best people engaged and delivering.

Your business is growing. Your people feel it.

THE PEOPLE YOU CAN'T LOSE

Good staff you can't afford to lose — and can't out-pay to keep. Every resignation sets you back months, and takes the standards and know-how with it.

the moments i work with

When to bring me in.

If any of these feel familiar, you're in the right place.

THE MANAGER WHO's NEW TO LEADING

Your best worker just became a supervisor — great at the work, never taught to lead. Now you find yourself stepping in.

THE PLAN ONLY YOU CAN SEE

You know where the business needs to go. Your team doesn't. Every decision waits on you, and everything slows down.

WHAT'S BEHIND IT
The Coast is growing faster than most workplaces can handle.

Teams are bigger, decisions are heavier, and what worked before doesn't quite stretch far enough. What looks like "people problems" — tension, turnover, stalled projects — is usually the pressure of growth landing on a few shoulders.

Left alone, these issues don’t stay small. They turn into missed targets, burnt‑out managers and owners who can’t step away from the day‑to‑day.

My work is about getting to the root of those pressure points — and turning them into a plan people get behind, managers who can lead, and ways of working that hold as you grow.

That happens through three pieces of work — a planning session, a manager program, and a written way of working.

WORK WITH ME

Three ways in. All practical, all built for this region.

what changes

New starters are productive in days rather than months, standards hold when you're not in the room, and people stay, because clear beats chaotic.

CULTURE

For the owner tired of standards resetting every time staff turn over. How your business runs — culture, onboarding, expectations — written down in plain language, with a name of its own: The [Your Business] Way.

Ways Of Working

what changes

Managers who deal with problems and manage their team effectively — so you don't have to step back in.

LEADERSHIP

New Manager To Confident Leader

For the great worker you've just promoted — who was never taught to lead. A program covering delegation, hard conversations, keeping good people and more.

what changes

Everyone can say where the business is going, what needs to be done, and what they own — and the plan shapes the decisions you make day to day.

PLANNING

Where To From Here

For the owner or leadership team carrying big decisions. A structured half-day that turns the plan in your head into one page your whole team can get behind — I run the room, you walk out with it finished. Fixed fee, one session.

ABOUT SILKE

Two decades inside real growth pressure.

I've spent my career inside leadership teams in large organisations — the places where growth targets, restructures and "people issues" all land at once. I've seen great plans stall because managers were overwhelmed, teams were confused, or no one felt safe to say what wasn't working.

The same pressures play out in a fast-growing smaller business — earlier, and with no corporate layer to absorb them. That's the gap I work in.

I hold a Master of Coaching Psychology, and I coach on evidence — not buzzwords. What I care about is what actually shifts behaviour: the conversations, habits and structures that help people do their best work day to day.

I'm also a Sunshine Coast local. I work with businesses of this region, in person — businesses growing fast that want their people and culture to keep up, not burn out. You get someone who understands both the human side and the commercial side of your decisions.

We talk
how it works

Working with someone new shouldn't feel like a leap.

A free 30-minute conversation about what's going on. No pitch, no obligations — and you will leave with a clear sense of scope and cost.

If I can help, I'll set out exactly what we'd do, how long it takes and what it costs — in writing, before you commit to anything.

Fixed scope, no lock-in contracts, no open-ended retainers. When the work is done, you're left with something that keeps working without me.

Business Planning Toolkit

Most plans stall before they start — not because the thinking was wrong, but because it was too complicated, nobody bought into it or knew what they needed to do to get there. This is the one-page version: three steps, ninety minutes to a first draft.

  1. Think — seven prompts to get the plan out of your head, with your team in the room.

  2. Write — one page, plain words, with lines to fill in there and then.

  3. Review — a simple monthly and quarterly rhythm so it doesn't sit in a drawer.
